I have spent the last 20 years managing Apple devices in several industries for Fortune 500 companies, from creative environments in print media and feature films to cutting-edge technology companies. During this time I have been a technology evangelist, team leader, architect and down-in-the-trenches sysadmin.

But it is not just being a “Mac Admin” it is about taking the 10,000 feet view. A holistic understanding of where macOS fits in an enterprise environment, and where it needs to go to fit in an ever changing technology landscape.

We started this journey loading the OS from floppy drives, it can be easy to fall behind, but modern management and ZeroTrust are the way of the future, and a true macOS admin actively participates in that future.
